donteatpoop (124), Youngstown, Ohio, USA Apr 11, 2008 Golden in color with virtually no head. Very grainy scent. Tastes of grains and sweet cereal. Carbonation is a bit high for my tastes, aftertaste is a bit on the bad side. Average drinkability, if you drink one you may as well have a few more. This is a slightly below average quality beer, not something I would drink again on purpose.
Serving type: bottle lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA Apr 11, 2008 I enjoyed this masterful brew poured from the can into a plastic cup, just the way it was meant to be had. Smelled oh so deliciously of metal. In fact, if I had to put a number, I’d say it was a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. As my lips quivered in anticipation, the beer literally screamed "DRINK ME". Not to deny the outspoken desires of the fresh rocky mountain water, I obliged and tapped in to it. Taste of refreshing tin canned sweet corn. Fantastic. My taste buds were high fiving eachother, and chest bumping my uvula. They realized they were being rewarded today.
Reminds me of the creamed corn gatorade flavor that was short lived in the mid 90’s. The body on this exceptionally well canned beer was thin, just like I’d expect. So good, I drank about 10 full ounces of this nectar before eating some green chili cheese fries while listening to the gourds battle the Shady Grove crowd. My first Coors is a day I’ll not soon forgot. fg8080 (37), San Diego, California, USA Apr 9, 2008 Pours yellow with a soapy head. A decent macro in my opinion, great for beer bongs Paboucek (3), Overlan Park, Kansas, USA does not count Apr 7, 2008 (Bottled) water like, pale yellow, small head. Is slightly better than Budweiser in almost every aspect- slightly more hops, less grey, and less likely to make you sick. No complexity at all. BeerFanDan17 (610), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Apr 7, 2008 I’m one of the few Coors lovers out there who also likes "real" beer. Coors has a unique flavor from the water it uses. Refreshing and smooth. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 7, 2008 Can: Pours a golden yellow color with a white head. This is a much better mass produced beer than others. I would take this one over most other mass produce Pale Lagers. Vs other types of beer, this one would not be chosen. FishManLA (284), Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA Apr 2, 2008 Certainly one of the better mass produced American lagers. At almost anywhere beer is sold, price is the exact same for any given package as Budweiser. And, since Coors is much, much better than Bud, this is the beer to buy on a Bud budget. Pours golden; richer in color than those garbage American lagers. Little or no head. Little or no lacing. Nose is sweat and corn/wheat, unoffensive. Taste is similar. On the watery side but a slight taste of hops is apparent, and nothing offensive is in the taste. Finish is essentially non-existent. scooterbub (332), Lander, Wyoming, USA Mar 30, 2008 Updated: Aug 11, 2008Can. Pours a golden yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma is sort of sweet and of corn. Taste is similiar, slightly watery. Rather smooth and clean. Overall, this is a pretty good beer. Unoffensive tasting, goes down easy and is priced fairly cheap.
