2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a straw yellow color with a fizzy white head. Cereal grain, grass, light hop and floral aroma. Grass, cereal grain, light hop and water flavors. Light body and average carbonation. Slightly sweet and rather bland. Astringent grassy finish. Better than a lot of other American adjunct lagers.

I don't know what I'm tasting but at least it's something & I like it. It's got a tad more flavour than it's competitors. I like it better than anything else molson & coors light for sure. This banquet beer is better than Kokanee or Keith's. The story has some cred too. CDN taxes make this double what it cost in US. I got a free glass with a 12 pack. Nice.

Can: Poured a golden color lager with a medium bubbly white head with minimal retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light adjunct notes with light sweet notes. Taste is quite bland with light sweet adjunct notes that are noticeable. Body is light with good carbonation. Nothing shocking here and probably better then Coors Light but still incredibly bland at the end of the day.

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Very weak malt aroma. Taste of grass, wood, tea, and - actually - mineral water. Very watery, with aftertaste of mineral water.

pours clear bright yellow with a small white cap, little retention and lacing. grainy slightly corny maltiness, hint of pineapple, chalk, pepper. average carbonation - not aggressive, light body, relatively dry and bland herbal-grassy finish. better than lighter version. inoffensive and forgettable. but not entirely bad.

At its best (fresh and cold), it doesn’t taste like much. At its worst (old and any temperature past ice cold), it tastes bad.

Molson-Coors just introduced this into Canada calling it Coors Banquet. I was not expecting much from this beer, and I was not surprised. Pours a straw colour with a frothy head, and has aroma notes of cereal and cardboard. The taste is very light, and tastes of alcoholic water with some hops. Overall this is bad, bad, bad, and is only slightly better than its lighter brother.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Can.
A- Cereal, light alcohol.
A- Pale golden color, clear liquid, thin white head.
T- Bland, watery, minimal bitterness.
P- Light body, thin texture, average carbonation, watery finish.
O- One of the better mass produced generic beers. Still nothing I would every pay money for.
