HueyBryan (40), Rotan, Texas, USA Sep 4, 2007 When you want something with a little more flavor than Coors light you can always depend on Original to fit the bill. The best thing about this beer is if you want to be different from your buddies while at the bar order the Gold! cdeaton (66), Madison, Indiana, USA Sep 4, 2007 Original is actually discernible from Light, unlike Bud/Bud Light, Miller/Miller Lite, etc. Sugary, semi-sweet taste that isn’t offensive. One of the Big 3 offerings that doesn’t make me noxious. CIPS514 (77), Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA Sep 4, 2007 This taste like the Rocky Mountains took a dump into the bottle. It is a decent domestic beer but I’d rather have a Sam Adams or if I had to have something more similar, a Bud Light. ksigty (107), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA Sep 3, 2007 Rocky Mountain Oil. You’re not drinking this for taste even though it is one of the better "heavy" beers. Grab 12, sit down, watch the game and quit your bitching. Daredevil (77), Bern, Switzerland Sep 2, 2007 out of the big 3 US beers (the other two being Budweiser and Miller Genuine Draft) this would be my favourite. Like the other two it is light bodied, but unlike those it does have a distinctive taste. Actually it doesn’t taste like a Lager at all, rather somewhere between an ale and a Weizen, of course diluted with water .... anyway, I will have one when in the US again and no Microbrewery is to be found .... clemente21 (4), USA does not count Aug 31, 2007 Water gone bad, essentially no flavor. Even by the standards of mass produced American beers essentially worthless. Pwn3d (1036), Manhattan, New York, USA Aug 31, 2007 12oz can. A lot different than bud or miller. creamy taste ,unpleasant flavor. Wasnt expecting much, but i was disappointed. hombrepalo (745), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 29, 2007 VERY light and watery, just too lacking in flavor. No bite, it is just bland. Pass and go for the water, unless the water is bad.
