COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

Can: Pours a golden yellow color with a white head. This is a much better mass produced beer than others. I would take this one over most other mass produce Pale Lagers. Vs other types of beer, this one would not be chosen.

Certainly one of the better mass produced American lagers. At almost anywhere beer is sold, price is the exact same for any given package as Budweiser. And, since Coors is much, much better than Bud, this is the beer to buy on a Bud budget. Pours golden; richer in color than those garbage American lagers. Little or no head. Little or no lacing. Nose is sweat and corn/wheat, unoffensive. Taste is similar. On the watery side but a slight taste of hops is apparent, and nothing offensive is in the taste. Finish is essentially non-existent.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2008 Can. Pours a golden yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma is sort of sweet and of corn. Taste is similiar, slightly watery. Rather smooth and clean. Overall, this is a pretty good beer. Unoffensive tasting, goes down easy and is priced fairly cheap.

...well, better than bud, but that’s about it. Regular piss taste american watered down lager. No real reason to ever buy this.

Clear, pale, a little more grainy than Light. Not as watery as Light, but leaves my stomach upset. Too many and you’ll have a wierd headache.

Pale yellow, very clear. Tastes watery and clean. Easy to drink just like water. Ok on a hot day but no real beer aroma or flavor.

WAY WAY better than a bud or bud light. But still not good. If you MUST drink it, drink it at an almost frozen state.
