COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

Let me figure out what to write for this. It still sucks just like coors light. It only has more alcohol, no more taste. Won’t buy again. Sucked.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2008 Good golden color, moderate head on the pour that dissipates quickly into nothing. Medium carbonation. Heavy aroma very bitter and hoppy. Flavor is quite malty despite the hoppy aroma, but the hops come through stong in the flavor too. Slightly carbonated mouthfeel. Overall, the experience of a banquet beer is for the most part balanced. Finish is medium and a little hoppy. Of all the shitty americam pale lagers I would have to say that this one is brewed with the best quality ingredients. Excellent with steak and monster burritos.

Like most of these big brand name American lagers, go with the light version. Your not tasting beer so you might as well go with less calories. Pretty bad all around.

Rather fruity aroma for a pale lager. Flat grainy flavor, but much richer than coors light.

bottle and can. of all the beers that have the "COORS" on it that are current this would be the way to go if I HAD TO. this is another one of those beers that smells all kinds of skunked! it’s a pale yellow color with no head and it tastes of water, water and more water. cheap, and not goos at all.

Less offensive than Budweiser but probably more so than MGD. Apparently Charles Barkley likes it.
