2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
355ml "cold certified" can. Golden colour, fat and noisy white head that dies down into nothingness quickly. Nose has sweet grains, little bit of wet hay and grass. Taste has grains, hay, medium sweetness, dull malt character. Finishes with a touch of grass and heavy grains. Watery texture, light carbonation. A bit better than expected, easy to crush a can of this quickly, but why would you want to?

A sample of Coors "golden" at yaggers. Apparently this is Canada's version of Coors original. Watered piss colour, aroma of soap and sweaty feet. Taste is slightly sugared water.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
12oz commemerative 1936 bottle into a pint, bought b/c the litte bottles looked cool and this use ot be my college go to beer when I was under age. Aroma is stale malts, corn, and fried dough aged awhile. Head is fizzles, small bubbles and thin streaks, then disapears entirely. Taste is sweet malts, corn, cardboard, and metallic offerings. Its a refreshing beer, goes down like a macro, not as bland as one would think, and its fitting for banquets of all type. Maybe they should compromise the receipe a bit though, theres a lot lacking here. Its hard to bring myself back to finish, there is no hop profile, corn over stands all in the taste. Could be a lot better, but could be so much worse, like a lighter version.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Old timey can that was on sale into pilsner glass. Clear golden color, many bubbles, with white head. Aroma of pale malt sweetness, corny with slight pear/green apple note. Taste is sweet pale malt pretty much, some cereal, watery and fizzy. Light body, heavy carbonation, bland with quick finish. The very slight fruity aroma is nice, otherwise not-remarkable. Refreshing and super easy drinking though. Wouldn’t turn one down.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can, 24oz. As Coors Golden Beer/Banquet. A small, dense, white head sits on top of a clear, golden body. The aroma has a malty and fruity touch, pears and yellow apples, with a grassy touch. Very weak, and that goes for the flavor too. Some bitterness towards the short end. Medium to thin on the palate, dry and pleasantly carbonated. Not very interesting this one, but at least there’s some flavor. 130818

On tap @ 2013 M&M conference (not the candy). Appeared gold-yellow with a light head and lacing. Aroma was of malts with slight sweetness. Taste was of malts and grains with a slight sweetness and a mild hop finish. Palate was OK. Overall, a typical macro-lager that was drinkable.
