The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

You gotta admit the beer has style and if I’m drinking an American macro and Coors is available in a local pub with a small selection you bet your ass I’m getting it. Aroma is earthy and the appearance is that of your typical American pale lager. Taste is a hint of sweetness and yeast. This beer is America and the label is one of the coolest macro’s you will come by.

A simple plain macro beer falling in line with Bud and Miller. Nothing exciting

Is there a difference between this and coors light? It’s possible but I can’t taste it. Either way drink a thousand of them and don’t complain you know what it’s for.

I rated this exactly the way I like it. It’s simple, crisp, sweet & hits the spot. An after-the-lawn-is-mowed beer, if you will. This tastes great to me anytime, like sitting around with friends & family. They all pick one up & comment that they had forgotten just how good it is. Try it again, you may change your review.

(Rating #3760)

Like most macro pale lagers, this is slightly flavored water. Never really understood the appeal, even when in college and all we drank was pale lagers

Can to glass. Pours clear pale golden yellow with huge soapy frothy white head that slowly fades with faint signs of lacing. Aroma is earthy malt and grain. Tastes starts malty and semi sweet that leads to grain and water with a subtle bitter finish. Palate is thin with a dry finish. I have always respected the banquet beer because it was the first beer that I drank!

Can, pours a golden pale colour, what you want from this style, for this style this is about as good as I have had. It tastes very similar to coors light, but it has more flavour. Really liked this one actaully.
