TrojanMan (43), USA Dec 11, 2006 Not much difference between Coors and Coors Light. Dribk them both cold when there is nothing else to choose from. ibrew2 (20), Illinois, USA Dec 10, 2006 Coors is jusy like Coors Light, salty in taste with little aroma. Pale with minimal head and bitter finish. Would not recommend. kevd193213 (477), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA Dec 9, 2006 Clear yellow, watery pour with little carbonation. No head, some fizz that does not last. Virtually no aroma. Taste of malt and wheat. Decent for a banquet beer. unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Dec 6, 2006 12oz FrostBrewLinerCan. I love Banquets! What is this stuff I used to drink so regularly? Clear, piss looking, no head... Although, not too watery. Slight malt sweetness. Light hop bitterness in the finish. Smooth palate. I really searching. DJC (238), USA Dec 3, 2006 Good color for a pale lager -- oops, I meant Banquet Beer (whatever that is). Nothing impressive about the aroma, but then there really shouldn’t be in this style. Flavor was not quite up to what I would call a halfway point, thus the lower score. Compared to other macro lagers, this one is about on par. LinusStick (1831), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 29, 2006 Coors Light has it’s place. This does not. It puts taste into Coors Light which is a bad thing. The grainy taste is bad at first, but the lingering aftertaste could kill a cow. Steer clear. JK (2946), Richfield, Minnesota, USA Nov 23, 2006 This isn’t so bad at all. The aroma has very light malt and grain. Flavor tastes cold of course, that that includes light grain and bread flavors. Nothing wrong here, and I’m not picking up on any chemicals or weird adjuncts. Better than the other two, and better generally than pale lagers produced by large breweries. BEANOBOY35 (10), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Nov 20, 2006 not a very good beer. too bitter, very strong aftertaste. don’t waste your money on this beer.
