You know, I guess this could be a lot worse. It’s funny how you can pick up something like this and say "hmm, this isn’t bad" just because your expectations are SO low. On the downside, this wasn’t free at a frat party, and these types of beers taste much better when they are free at frat parties.

SHMEDLEY BEER TASTING 09-16-2006 Thin tight carbonation and a slight white head with little retention. Corn was prominent in the aroma. A very slight tart rise at the end of the swallow is the only stretch at flavor this brew could muster.

Rating in relatively close proximity to other US macros for comparison...pours average-aroma is of mellow corn and grain. flavor is standard macro with somewhat of a more mellow corn flavor and virtually no aftertaste.

Well...its better than Coors Light. Its the Banquet Beer. Remind me to skip that banquet.

Horrible. I ordered a "bolla’ at a mexecan restaurant, meant to be three mex beers mixed w/ salt like a margarita. instaed , they brought oput this monstrousity. Weaker than wek, like a spritz of actual beer in a vat of pond water.

One of the worst beers I had ever had, Water tastes better than this. This beer is so tastseless that it should not even be worth drinking when it is for free.

As cheap macros go, this is as close as you can get to a decent pale lager. More yellow than most, with an actual white head. Aroma and taste are all grain and corn, with the typical metal. Definitely not good, but not the worst out there.

I like this beer. A good change from it’s competition. Wouldn’t drink it all the time, but I do go back to it every so often.
