COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

OK, so Coors is not the best beer in the world. Everybody knows this... and we should probably not compare Coors or the analogous brews (Bud, Miller, etc.) to craft micro brews. It’s like comparing Gallo Blush wine to a bottle of Brunello. That said, on a hot summer day, an ice cold Coors is not only refreshing, it’s smooth as hell. Who am I kidding, this stuff tastes like shit... but I’m going to take one for the team and finish it... and five of it’s siblings.

Smokey and the Bandit was about Coors beer. My dad and his brothers jumped state lines to get this. WHY! I love the movie, Bert Renolds, Sally (never looked better in bellbottoms) Fields, and Jackie Gleason. That is all I can say, a great movie.

In the wedding party in Colorado. I figured when in Colorado why not ’tap the rockies’? It’s Coors, who hasnt had it? I just wanted a story to tell when I finally rated it. And the rehersal dinner I hardly remmeber qualifies.

When I went to America I thought cool a 6 pack for like 5 bux. How can you go wrong? Easily! Just drink Coors Original. However in all fairness it is still a beer that is somewhat drinkable and is one for the down and out who is cash strapped.

I drank a Coors out on the golf course yesterday. It was so damn hot that I didn’t really even mind the fact that it tasted like ice water. I have to admit that I like the new "specially lined cans" because they’ve got an old-tyme label, but the tabs are a sweet-lookin’ chrome blue! In all seriousness though, beyond Coors’ slightly thinner palate, Coors and Budweiser are essentially the same beer (not that this is any real surprise). However, for the first time, I noticed the rice adjuncts in equal degrees in both macros (didn’t get so much corn taste, however).

Completely clear pale pour with a brief white film. Papery, sweet pale malt aroma with almost no body or bitterness. This is adjunct swill.

Better than Bud, not as good as Miller High Life. There’s a smoothness, almost creamy (or is it oily?), in the end, but it’s gotta be COLD to be drinkable.

Not really worthy of steaming a hot dog in. I would think that the hot dog would be offended by being warmed by such a wreched beer.
