COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

Slightly better then it’s brother Coors Light. It’s still just an average water beer from the United States. Although better then any of it’s cousins: Miller, Budweiser, etc.

Dear Lord! Did not expect this, like some sort of creature took a piss in my mouth, for one whole week! Do not buy!!! I buy only on sale, and if in the future it is the only beer on sale, then I will buy anti-freeze instead.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2007 Can > Teton Pines golf course from the beer chick. Ahhh, ye old Banquet Beer. Haven’t had this in forever. This wasn’t to bad. Brought back some good memories. Kind of surprised at the 2 rating. I thought it had more flavor than I expected. Certainly wasn’t offensive.

Bottle. Pours a yellow colour with a small rather short lasting white bubbly head. Sweetish, grainy and bit malty aroma. The flavour is rather thin, sweet, grainy, bit malty and bit hoppy. Short finish. Boring.

12oz bottle - Well Coors has a deal right now where you get a $50 rebate on patio furniture if you buy a 12 pack of coors.. I was going to use it all for cooking but then i realized I hadn’t rated it yet. Well it poors pale golden with a white head and a slight nose of corn and some grain with maybe a touch of grass. Flavor is watered down grain mostly with slight grass at the finish.. Palate is watery and thin.. A touch better than coors light but honestly not good...

just what you’d expect. tastes of corn and almost seltzery carbonation. an easy drink as long as it stays cold. a bag of pretzels will certainly help.

Bottle. Had one of these laying around the fridge, figured I’d rate it. Straight forward American macro brew. Can taste that they are adding corn, and you really do not want to have any part of this beer past 37 degrees.
