fatguys (65), Wisconsin, USA Nov 13, 2005 This and MGD are at the same level as far as I’m concerned. Anything but Bud. I enjoy that I don’t get a weird aftertaste from this macroswill. If there’s corn here, it’s hidden, but I don’t think there is. There’s a slightly sweet/honey taste in here, which makes it interesting. If they could boil down all the hops and barley that’s used to make 5 servings of this into one, it probably wouldn’t be that bad. mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA Nov 11, 2005 I don’t buy from the big 3 anymore, but this was free, so why not rate it. Can’t really say there is any BAD flavor here, but certainly not anything to enjoy. There is one flavor in the entire beer and it is of a bad version of honey. Very very weak color. ZUnapealing almost slimy mouthfeel. OK, so I’d rather drink this one than anything from A-B (Micheloebs excepted) or Miller, but that’s not saying much. just1otherguy (25), USA Nov 9, 2005 Better than the other macro choices (bud, miller, etc.). But it is still an American macro pale lager. There’s better stuff out there. Wolfenstein (96), Sarasota, Florida, USA Oct 29, 2005
Tap (At brewery): Crisp refreshing beer when your hot and thirsty. Nothing deep or dark. Watery and goes down smootly. jb (1024), Rochester, New York, USA Oct 25, 2005 Too light and watery but a pleasant taste and aroma just too little of it. mrnutsnbolts (204), Berkeley, California, USA Oct 23, 2005 Better than Bud, MIller, and Tecate. Tastes a little better than Coors light, but not much. Still tastes pretty watery and foul. brettpace (179), Northridge, California, USA Oct 22, 2005 Y-U-C-K. and this was Coors’ falgship brand? Wow, this "banquet Beer" is horrible, I cant stand it. It makes me sick. kamish (92), Lake Stevens, Washington, USA Oct 21, 2005 i love this legend. i realize now the light version of this isn’t much. though the silver bullet got me through many a nights as a young adolescent. it just tastes good.
