COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

bubbleflubber (1206) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - JUN 5, 2006
Dull, boring and listless.... Straw pour, with sour corn to the nose. Taste is of corn swill, with no exceptionality whatsoever. Poor "banquet" choice....

only because the bar had nothing else: bland, no bitterness, tastes like apples and slightly sweet. not a whole lot else going on. kind of like drinking NA beer..

demitriustown (877) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JUN 1, 2006
Light golden pour with a minimal soapy white head. Aroma is rather sweet, very light malt notes, corn, and peanuts. Taste consists of a light sweetness, small amount of malt. Palate is quite carbonated with a light sweetness. For a pale lager this is alright. At least, it’s got some light sweetness to it.

Beerdedone (2188) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 30, 2006
On Draft. Pours pale yellow with a large white head. Aroma of grain, corn, and sweet malts. Flavor is grain, and corn, as well as a little thin. But drinkable.

The most underrated beer out there. Delicious nutty flavor, easy to drink, not even comparable to the light version.

This beer pours a light yellow with a small white head. They say this is brewed with pure Rocky Mountain Spring Water. What they don’t tell you is that it’s bottled from that spring right after a deer urinates in it.
