3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2004 It is no Budweiser but it is up there. How many other beers can have forced professional athlets into retirement for doing its commercial. Gets an A for that. The first time I had it the Big Drew gave it to me and we watch a terrible car accident that took Nascar's beloved son and dirtest driver.

This is not a bad beer on a summer night with steak meal. This is an occasional beer to drink when only light beers are available.

Bottled. Labeled as Coors 1873 Premium in Chile. Pours clear golden with medium soapy head. Aroma is weakly malty with traces of fruity esters, no traces of hops. Maybe some white bread? Adjuncty. Taste is mostly water with some hints of cereal sweetness. Could be worse. Refreshing? Yes, but water too and this is supposed to be a beer. High carbonation. When I finish it, seems like I drank nothing at all. Maybe sklightly better than Miller and Budweiser. That’s not saying much. I prefer the South American macro aduncty lagers.

Bottle in Chicago-- Pours pale yellow with thin white head. Aromas are sweet malts, bubble gum. Light body, average carbonation. Short sweet finish. One of the most famous American beer, one of the most tasteless too!

On va lui laisser ça.

H2o which is water. This is grain tea. No hops no malts. Fine on the lake when it’s 99 degrees outside and the mountains are blue.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Arômes quasi nuls, goût de houblon insipide, malt sucré, un arrière-goût amer rappelant le café froid. Rendu là je lui préfère sa soeur light.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours an Amber gold with a light head. Aroma is that if honey and grain. Has a very smooth malt taste with a smooth aftertaste. Very good beer, highly recommended.

Had this beer at the freshest possible place, the Coors Factory in Golden, CO. It was actually very smooth and had a great malt flavor for a standard domestic beer.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Drinking as Coors Banquet. On tap pours a clear Amber gold with light head. Aromas of honey and grain. Flavors of graham crackers and grain. Don’t get the normal cardboard which is a positive.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle - drank straight from the bottle (come on, do you really need a glass for Coors?), you can still tell it’s a pale straw color, sweet corn/malt aroma and flavor, not much hop balance, pretty typical pale lager but in the not so good sense
