Just another macro lager but better than other large breweries. Growing up my dad used to have this shipped east.Maybe it was better in the 70’s

I should dock points for the container’s appearance. That color always makes me think that it will taste like bananas. It’s not a terrible beer, but it barely has more flavor than most light beers.

By far, the best domestic beer in the US. Nothing great compared to the micro brews, but head & shoulders above anything Budweiser or Miller produce.

12oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear gold with minimal head. Aroma of sweet syrup and corn. Taste is about the same. Pretty bad, but still better than most light beers.

Not a bad cheep beer. Far better than Coors Light. Good to drink if your throwing a party or hanging out by the pool.

24 ounce can. My 8th most rated unrated beer. I thought it was the highest, but that is Miller Genuine Draft. Doh! Pours a clear pale golden color with a thin fizzy head that quickly fades. Aroma of banana, creamed corn, grain and the faintest grassiness. The taste is grain, corn, floral and grassy hops. Thin bodied, smooth. Pretty decent for a pale lager actually.

Originally reviewed: 6/29/10. My turn to host "cheap beer night," so I grabbed an 18-pack of cans for the occasion. Poured one into a pilsner glass to get the full effect.
Pours a translucent pale yellow with a thick white head on top. Retention was pretty weak; left little-to-no lace on the glass. Scents of buttered bread, faint grains, and that ever-present ’macro’ smell.
The body had a bit more depth than the other cheap beer of the night, Bud Ice. Some mild carbonation on the palate. Typical flavors for a macro. Some grains, buttery aftertaste, and white bread. Bitterness is low. All-in-all, not a bad offering for what it is. It’s cheap and goes down easy.

Pours a straw pale yellow with a fizzy head. Aroma of corn and adjunct. Tastes similar. Watery.

Fresh out of the can...not much here. Sweet and syrupy taste and smell. Better than Budweiser though.

Can. Got it on dollar mystery beer night. In the words of my wife "that tastes like nothing. I can even drink that.". That about sums it up.

About as ordinarily weak a beer as it can get. I wished it had stayed in the rockys
