A below average beer with fancy packaging. No wonder they push Coors Light with their advertising.

I didn’t like this crap. The only thing cool about it is that it gets you drunk and it has cool sports athletes on there commercials such as Bill Russell.

I can remember bringing cases back for friends when it was only available west of the Missi.

Pity Coors brewing. One of the most sought after beers in the country when it wasn’t available (due to Coors refusal to pasteurize) now has wide distribution and a declining market share. Although this could be due to the relative popularity of Coors Light. Anyway I was not looking forward to tasting this Coors regular and bought the smallest amount I could get, a 24oz. can. This beer pours golden color with a minimal head and few lacings. Little aroma leaves the glass but the flavor is very good for a macro pale lager. Not one I will buy much of as I lean more toward APA or IPA’s these days. A pretty good general purpose American macro.

A step up from Bud, but as all know by know, that damns with faint praise. But I can actually detect the corn and rice notes in this one, whereas Bud didn’t give me squat to detect. (Got this in a $.99 24 oz single. Say, for macroswill, isn’t that a ’good’ deal? Works out to $2.97 for a 6-pack’s worth of summertime liquid refreshment.)

I actually don’t see this one a whole lot in the midwest, where A-B and Miller dominate the shelves. Light yellow pour, foamy white head, heavy carbonation. Bland. If I’m getting something this devoid of character, I’d probably save a few carbs and get a light beer.

Will do in a pinch when there’s not another good beer around for miles (or else I’d go and get it)

Drank a lot of this when I was stationed in ND. Got if for a dollar, and I actually enjoyed it. Gives a helluva a headache the next day.
