UPDATED: JUL 4, 2007 I grew up in Indiana - we were the last state in the union to be able to get Coors so I fondly remember road trips to Ohio or Kentucky just to buy Coors. It was probably the combination of the anticipation, effort and inexperience that make Coors taste so good back then. Sour corn/barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with big head. Slightly sweet corn/barley malt flavor. Needs to be drank very, very cold. Drink only when watching "Smokey and the Bandit" on late night TV in honor of the great Jackie Gleason.

Fizzy gold color. Small head. Aroma is slightly of corn and grain. I will admit my beer snobbery here and admit I only drank this stuff because, it was free and it was the best beer available. I am also sure that there are picture, suitable for blackmail, which will circulate of me drinking this stuff. Enough said, on with the review. Typical fizzy yellow beer flavor. Malts and hops are all but non-existent. Corn and a vegetable flavor are evident. Its much better ICE cold, as the objectionable flavors are not as evident as when it warms up. Vegetable, medical and corn YUCH!! Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is neutral.

Better tahn most American macros. I like that it actually has hops flavor. Tends to have too much carbonation.

On draught at local tavern in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear golden blond brew with a fast dissolving white head. Aroma of light bread malt and a touch of citrus. Flavor is light bodied, well-carbonated, watery bread malt . Finish is slightly sweet at first and then a clean cut with no flavor. A Colorado maco-brewed beer.

For some reason, this was sought after when I was growing up in New York, maybe because it was hard to get east of the Rockies. Not that it is as command as the rhinovirus, there is no need to look for it any more.

I remember my grandfather loved this beer, along with Olympia. Today it pours with a big pillowy head that subsides quickly. Yellow, clear. Sweet malty aroma. Smooth and lightly malty ... just indescript, I'd say.
