There was very little lacing to speak of on the sides of my mug. There was a lot of carbonation present which is typical of American mass-produced beers. It was yellow-gold in body. It was watery and had very little taste to it. It lacked character also typical of American mass-produced beers. PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Decent, fresh lager aroma, touch of honey sweetnes and a kiss of hops in the back end. Does not have that thick pasturized feel that its brothers Bud and MGD have. Does in a pinch. Original 2.4 Step above the budgets and probably Budweiser. I detect a hop or two in there somewhere. Hard to believe this beer used to be smuggled east of the Mississippi! It was probably the combination of the anticipation, effort and inexperience that make Coors taste so good back then. Sour corn/barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with big head. Slightly sweet corn/barley malt flavor. Needs to be drank very, very cold. Drink only when watching "Smokey and the Bandit" on late night TV in honor of the great Jackie Gleason. presario (3010), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Tastes kind of like ginger ale too. Hard to believe we used to drive to the U S of A just for this. SledgeJr (3005), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jun 1, 2004 A nasty little brew made by some nasty little people. I don’t drink any beer whose parent company has a political agenda. This pious attitude is easy to maintain when the beer tastes as weak as Coors. Stay far away from this one.
