2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 oldrtybastrd (3229) - Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA - DEC 27, 2005
Pours a little darker than most american lagers. Aromas of corn, hops, and you know the rest. Flavor is a little more pronounced in this lager, a little more bitter and more pronounced burnt flavor. Just a bit more flavor than most.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Aubrey (3192) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - MAY 1, 2000
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2008 Recently tried one of these in the can. It poured with a fizzy head that faded fast (before I could even throw away the can). Appearance-wise, it looked like apple juice (no lasting head or lace at all). Carbonation was milder than I remember -- much less than other macro beers. Big elements of creamed corn, DMS, musty grains and white rice. Other off-putting notes of butter and sulfur. Hardly any hop aromas, flavors or bitterness to speak of (somewhat herbal, if anything). Boring and bland.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Strykzone (3132) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAR 31, 2003
A nice beer. Not very substantial, but easy to drink. There used to be a huge mystique surrounding this beer. The mystique was better than the beer.
1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 arminjewell (3107) - Parker, Colorado, USA - JAN 8, 2010
Golden pour with little head, taste is corn and sweet, with a little bit of alcohol bitter at the end. Not much to say here, a sweeter, fuller version of coors light but not by much.

I’m not a fan of the huge American brewers. This falls into the category of - ’no thanks, I’ll just have a glass of water’

I had this side-by-side with Coors Light whenI went to a bar where my department has a monthly get-together. Definitely better than the Light. Nothing offensive. Nearly as pale, but appropriate level of carbonation and a hint of sweetness. Plain and worthless but not a total disaster. (on tap, Green Elephant, Dallas)

Better than bud and about even with MGD. Not a good beer, but easy to drink. Better than the light macro beers out there.

Do I need to describe this? Well apparently I do. I just got a low character count alert. Ok, pale golden, grassy, cardboard, skunk, not very good.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 lithy (2995) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 24, 2009
Clear pale yellow with a lasting smooth white cover. Soapy malt and corn aroma. Taste is similar unpleasant metallic weak corn malt.
