The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

I have a soft spot for Coors Banquet Beer. It is a classic American lager. The flavor is very grainy and yet enjoyable. It has some body to it, adequate for the style and more than its competitors. I like this with a hearty burger and especially fresh off a tap out west.

Too sweet, too carbonated, watered down, and contains typical crappy corn adjuncts, bleh!

I just don’t see why this company makes beer... Haven’t tasted anything from them that is somewhat drinkable...

Bottle shared at Porch Nite thanks (?) to Jeff. Pours a light yellow with two fingers of foamy white head. Aroma is corn and some floral. Slight grass. Flavor follows with more corn. Decent lawnmower beer, but nor for much else.

Just somewhat better than coors light, still though a grain tea with tons of carbonation. Really sucky stuff.

After living abroad and weekend-after-weekend sippin’ on fine beers from Belgium and Germany, I returned home to the States to have this beer. Sadly, it was a harsh reality check after drinking aforementioned beers. The bland, watered-down taste didn’t go down well and I only finished this beer so I wouldn’t waste $3 (it was on special). At times when I was struggling to drink the beer, I slammed my fist down on the table and made the "bitter-beer-face," as people from other tables looked on.

Poured from a 12 OZ "stubby" into a pint glass. Aroma- Has that AAL smell of grain and corn. This to me is not awful but just common. Appearance- Pours a golden yellow, a pun from the beer from "Golden, CO." Taste- Not bad, i haven’t had this beer in decades and it was very refreshing. Palate- A light bodied beer with moderate to heavy carbonation. It finishes clean and smooth. Overall- This is a macro, but a really good macro to me. I prefer this beer in bottles and i hear quite often the cans have a metallic aftertaste. Try a bottle and see what you think.

Booooooring.
