COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

I think RateBeer.com should add negative points opitions on their rating scale for beers like this. This is the worst beer I’ve ever tasted, bar non. Just foul. I have to imagine that drinking pure sewer water would be a better experience.

I remember the mystic of this beer in the early seventies. People would bring back cases to the Midwest in the seventies...to much fanfare. Kinda’ funny now. It is no better than Falstaff or Old Mil, but it is cheaper than bottled water.

The only beer I can think of offhand that I would turn down if free on a hot day. I think the lowest ratings should be (almost) as rare as a ’5’; this is the bottom of the barrel for me. The Light is actually better, the only case I can think of where that’s true.

I went out to eat with a girl that ordered a Coors one time. It was a long, lonely walk home.

Once upon a time, i thought coors was good beer. this of course was when i was quite young and had watched ’smokey and the bandit.’ imagine my surprise when i got around to actually trying the beer -- i couldn’t understand what any of the fuss was about. coors is different from budweiser in that it’s rocky mountain pisswater, not midwestern pisswater.

pale almost piss yellow. White foamy head. Taste is pretty bland. What I have come to expect from a large american marco. Sigh.

If it’s possible, normal Coors sucks even worse than Coors Light. How can this be? Not even experts can answer this puzzler, my friends.
