The Banquet Beer was born in the Rockies and has been a proud part of the American experience for generations, stubbornly refusing to compromise, since 1873.

Better than light. A little heavier and a little more flavor. But still just a domestic brew.

Best of the Macro-beers. Definitely tastes better than Budweiser or Miller. Coors will always be my staple beer. There are better beers, but by far the best of the big three.

No flavour or aroma which is typical for Coors. Lots of wheat, straw, corn, etc but nothing else to offer.

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2014 Refreshing, easy drinking. Comparably low on off-flavors for the style but very watery and light.

Just typed a rating for this, then the internet glitched- I have never had a positive experience with Coors in any aspect, lol. While I am disgusted by coors light, this is decent. A fine example of crude capitalism over craftsmanship, smells of metallic industrialism, has a lame yellow color and fizzy appearance. Taste is ok grainy malt, some stale hop bitterness. Light mouthfeel with a smooth cool finish, refreshing enough. Still worse than most others. Not terrible but still a cheap macro American adjunct lager.

Very little smell, yellow with a white head, taste if wheat with banana very sweet aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear, light gold pour with a white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma has very faint grains. It has a medium body with average carbonation. The taste is sweet with a lightly bitter, somewhat dry finish.

Out of 12oz short neck bottle, better than the Silver Bullet but still awful. This is most definitely a quantity beer. Thin mouthfeel, light carbonation. Hints of corn, very metallic, slight slight white grape flavor. It is what you would imagine.

Itís not bad, but I actually pefer the Silver Bullet. While Coors Golden offers a much stronger flavor, the flavor is not very good. Less is more here. Still a really good cheep party beer. As in good for that purpose. Not for being a real beer.
