Draft sample at MBGWF 12. Poured hazy golden color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex sweet apple and spice aroma. Medium to heavy body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet doughy flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good complex beer.

esjaygee (2599) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 1, 2009
On tap at the Great Lakes Brewfest 2009. Hazy amber with a thin tan head. Aroma of apples and apple strudel, dough, cinnamon, sugar and spices. Taste of apple strudel, cinnamon, candy sugar, mild fruit and sweet malt. Body is a little sticky and it finishes up with some tartness. Pretty interesting and good in small doses.

BBB63 (5026) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - AUG 2, 2009
MiBG Summer Fest 2009, Friday Session: Coppery hue with a small fading head. The aroma has notes of Belgian candi sugar and yeast, some faint ripe apples and biscuity malts with a hint of flowery spices. The taste is boozy and apple pie with a constant sweet and sugary tone which makes it cloy in the end. The mouth feel is soft and smooth. This should be better than it is and needs a major overhaul. Once you get past the apple it is an average Tripel styled brew.
