COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Strong hop bitterness is apparent in this brew as is hop flavor and aroma characteristic of the "dry hopping" technique used in the brewing process. These flavors are balanced with a subtle malt sweetness in the finish.

Now we are getting someplace, the IBU’s are climbing. Hops and more hops in this beer, but to be fair there is a nice malt sweetness that lingers under my hops.

On tap. Clear light ambercoloured with no head. Hoppy and slightly malty. Grassy notes that leads to a bit of a dry finish.

tap at brewery. pours an orange hue with great cascading lacing from a white head. citric hop notes in the aroma with tones of pineapple, grapefruit, and some grainy malts. subtle tangerine note as well. taste is very jucy, with all these citric notes coming out. light oxidization but not offensive. pretty good munich malt base here. this beer is pretty solid and a step away from something great.

This beer is a clear copper-amber color, it has a ring of a pale head around the glass. There is a slight aroma of citrus here, most notably grapefruit. The taste is light and off-dry, but it has a nice tingling bitterness to it that is evident on my tongue. There is a malty caramel note in the finish that is quite nice, though it is subtle. I get notes of lemon, currants, and pine. This is one of the better beers here.

Dark amber with a nice thick white head and lacing in the pint glass. Flavor of malt and lots off hops. Flavor was all hops, citrus and grapefruit. Very good IPA.

Sampler. Well will have to go back and get a full glass because this one tasted just like the Amber Ale, watery. Maybe the bar maid gave me two of the same beers in my sampler.

I had this at the Great Arizona Beer Festival in Phoenix. It was nothing special.

Decent beer. Not the best pale ale, but not the worst. Good hoppy taste and smell.

THis beer is listed as an IPA on Copper Canyon's menu & I'd have to agree. Definitely some citrus/grapefruity hoppy nose & taste going on here. It is a clear golden color w/ a decent hoppy/citrus nose & flavor. It is a respectable west coast IPA. Nice, but not outstanding.

Great hop flavor and bitterness. By far the best Copper Canyon beer.
