Hazmatt (357), Virginia, USA May 29, 2007 Draught at the pub. Golden color with a pinkish hue. Aroma is raspberry and slight hops. This beer actually has a strong malt background, some complexity, maybe a british variety added. Raspberry flavor is up front but not overwhelming or syrupy. Not very tart, semi-dry. Good enough for a second one. Refreshing. bager (2060), Copenhagen N, Denmark Sep 10, 2006 On tap. Clear light pinkish in colour with no head. Totally sweet and sticky. Rasberry and a bit hoppy in flavour - oh and did I mention sweet? Feels a bit sharp. Terminus (1955), Illinois, USA Jun 21, 2005 tap at brewery-pours a golden yellow with a pink tinge as well from the flavoring. some good lacing and head retention i must say. raspberry cough surup aroma, but not that offensive honestly. flavors are sweet raspberry and a fizzy carbonation makes this beer pretty dry. not bad and not offensive for what it is. the chic beer for the mullets! FlacoAlto (2140), Tucson, Arizona, USA Jun 17, 2005 This beer is a clear light copper color and it has a wispy pale head on it. There is a hint of raspberry color to the beer as well. The aroma is dominated by a strong raspberry note, and nothing else. The beer is pretty dry, which helps to keep the dominant raspberry note in check. There is also a slight acidity in the finish, which seems to be from the raspberries. This beer is certainly dominated by the raspberry notes, not much else here. If this was sweet I would most likely hate this as it would be too much with the raspberry and all, luckily it is just dry enough to be drinkable. turbo (1248), Arizona, USA Jun 7, 2005 Very odd tasting beer.
Aroma of raspberry with a very watery body.
Flavor started with raspberry but finishe with the heavy taste of handcream on the palate.
Blah!
