Cask ale. Poured clear dark brown with a very slight amout of carbonation. No real head, and only a little lace. Aroma of bready/toast, carmel malts, with some earthy hops (dry hopped cask). Taste is really on the malty side with some light nut. Malt gives a light chocolate and slightly bready flavor. Mouth is smooth and light. Overall, an interesting and decent mild ale.

Appearance: Pours a clear, dark brown body with reddish hints to it and topped by a rather creamy, eggshell-colored head.
Smell: Mild aroma of dark caramel malts with a faint hint of grain. The mildness of the aroma is to be expected, as for what you gain in appearance and body you lose in aroma.
Taste: Caramel maltiness with a touch of roast and grain. Medium sweetness. Hint of sweet iced tea. Lightly floral with a mild hop bitterness. Lightly malt finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Mild carbonation. Very creamy mouthfeel.
Drinkability: A pleasant English mild, and a fine repeat quaffer to pair with the Gouda Cheeseburger (medium-rare).

Pours a deep amber brown color with a tan head. Aroma is malty, caramel, chocolate, roast, toast, and earthy hops. Flavor is malty, caramel, toast, chocolate, and an earthy finish.

Nice and mellow mild on nitrogen. Maltly backbone with caramel support. Low on the grassy hops and in great balance. An easy drinker.

This was an excellent mild. It was served nitro, so I would have expected muted aroma and flavor, but if this was muted, it was a malt bomb before nitrogenation. Big caramel, brown sugar and slight light chocolate maltiness. Very low bitterness and eternally drinkable. One of the better milds I’ve ever had.
