COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Third in our “singles” series, this is an unusual lager. Made with 100% German Munich malt, it has a bready, biscuit-like flavor. The lone hop is Hallertau Hersbrucker. It lends a spicy, cleansing contrast to the Munich malt. Fermented with a southern German lager yeast, the beer has a dry finish. November is a month to celebrate!

Light amber with a faint white film of a head. It has a vanilla aroma with a fruity apricot taste with some residual sugar. Biscuity malt and slight sourness in the finish.

(11/12/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Lafayette Hill. Cloudy amber color. Buttery aroma. Sweetish flavor with butterscotch, some malt, caramel hints and faint fruity notes. Light-bodied. Unpleasant.

Amber color with tan colored head. Malty spicey aroma. Nuts, caramel. and malt is the flavor with light spicy finish. Decent beer. I was going to get my growler filled but not for $16.

This one beats the hell out of most Oktoberfests. Amber color with medium white head. Sweet, malty aroma with some hop presence. Taste is classic Fest, but bolder, sweeter and far hoppier than most others. Very fresh taste. Yum

Deep coppery pour. Aroma of brown sugar, some vinous fruit, nuts, hops, caramel malt. Medium to dense palate, and pretty complex, with taste notes of caramel malt, fruity brown sugar, and syrupy hops.

Appears a dark amber with a small, off-white head that quickly fades out into a mild cap. Scattered lacing is left around the glass. Smell is of a malty, doughy, yeasty, citrus blasted hop treat. Taste is of the doughy, biscuity, mildly spiced, citrus aromas that seem to come together for an unusually hopped up Oktoberfest. Mouthfeel is smooth, mildly spicy and citrusy on the finish but overall very clean and smooth.

On tap at the Brew Pub. Poured a medium and clear amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of and tastes of bread, biscuit, and a very light spiciness to it. Had a clean and crisp finish.

Hallertau hops gives this lager a spicy bite. Amber colored with a medium malt body. Basic ingredients produce a complex Marzen.
