Musty, grainy, fruity aroma with plenty of citrus hop character. Clear pale copper coloured body with a low white head that recedes to ring with some lacing. Fruity and grainy flavour with a light botterness, citrus hop flavour and a lasting grainy aftertaste. Medium light body with fair carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub with beerbuzzmontreal, MartinT, Rastacouere and Yowie.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a ring of white lace. Good aroma of floral, citrusy hops and caramel. The flavor also has floral citrusy hops and caramel with a bitter finish. The body is light with low carbonation. The separate elements are good but overall it’s an unremarkable pale ale.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MartinT (6928) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 13, 2005
The Lure: Obvious oranges bobbing atop the earthy and resinous hoppiness. A blunt proliferation of the pale ale motto, well-executed.
The Festivities: Green, resinous hop bitterness concludes an all-hop affair, which presents oranges, citrusy fruitiness and an earthy, wooden bark character. It is rather light-bodied, which helps quenching, but decreases the tasting pleasures.
Transcendence: Honesty is the best policy.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Rastacouere (6041) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 11, 2005
Citrusy, sweaty headless hazy amber pour. Dry-hopped aromatics shape up in the form of orange citrus fruits most of all and don’t really tempt the user. Very straightforward, easy pale ale malts stay separated from the hops, the latter pushing a little bitterness up and quickly stepping aside, not particularly determined to leave an impression.

Others at my table and I agreed ths beer was hoppier than what we expected. I liked it. It added a good backbone to a above average beer. A damn fine Pale Ale and one I can enjoy time and time again.

Hoppy floral aroma. Dark yellow, with lace in glass. Quaffable, 35 IBU. Not too bitter, some corriander, other spice, spot of fruit. Balanced British style, but thin mouthfeel, watery aftertaste.

Deep gold colored with more color than the blonde. Aroma of hopcir and slight resin/florals. Tastes hoppy, with a somewhat dry, resiny finish. Very nice, solid hop palate with a balanced subtleness.

Pint @ brewpub. Light amber color with a nice sized off white head. Aroma is alcohol on top of the bitter hops and sweet citrus flavors of tangerine and orange. Taste is nice and hoppy with some flavors of coriander, pepper, licorice, munich malts and caramel. I found even chocolate in there as well.
