2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 tfredvik (376) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 17, 2012
Clear medium amber body with an average, frothy off-white head of decent lifetime, good lacing. A bit faint aroma with few recognisable elements, I get mainly light caramel, fruits and some faint floral notes. Moderate to light bitter finish and quite faint flavours. A bit thin and watery. Not very exciting, but there’s nothing wrong with this beer, so a fair session ale, I suppose.
[50 cl bottle, enjoyed 3 months after BB date, from Jacobs, Oslo]

UPDATED: FEB 29, 2012 Bottle and rated while drinking it. Deep golden colour, with a quick vanishing off white head. Light caramel and a bit fruity nose. Bitter hoppy flavour with some caramel and fruity background. Medium carbonation even from a bottle, a fresh and nice mouthfeel.

500 ml bottle. Clear, deep golden body with a nice off-white had that sadly disappears quite fast. Medium aroma of malt, caramel and varnished wood. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel and nuts. Medium bitterness that becomes a bit more obvious in the aftertaste. Decent bitter, but not to exiting.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2011 Malty sweetness as taste initially, finish becomes predictably bitter, but not overly bitter. The body is quite and weak and the overall impression suffers from that. A clear dark amber colour, head is off-white. (Bottle, abv was 4.0)
