3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Straw with a modest head. the aroma has notes of orange/tangerine and lime. An it has a LOT of flavour considering this beer only has 4.2%. Itís a garden of fruits, with a lot of different citrus fruits and sweet melon. Itís a refreshing and nice ale, with a long finish.

COnsidering the name of the brewery I had another idea, but it was nice in general terms. Somewhat bitter, and light at times. BUt good bubbling foam and nice aftertaste.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask, handpump @ the Steer Inn, just east of York, Nth Yorkshire.
Almost bright and still, very pale yellowy gold body with a thin layer of white. Feint lemon and haystack nose. Sour malt, wheaty, barnyard grains and a touch of tangy, ripe grapefruit and lemon make up the palate. Light spritz of carbonation but otherwise smooth and very light. Finish is extremely short and dry. Flavour becomes sweeter as it goes like lemon candi. Quite refreshing with nothing out of the ordinary to complain about. 6,3,6,3,14
50cL bottle, as above.
Bright and finely carbonated, urine yellow in colour with little head retention. Sour, spicy white wine nose with a good dash of pale honey. Flavour is somewhat identical to that on cask; grapefruit, lemons, sourish malt and a base of barnyard grains. Very light bodied, almost pale lager-like in mouthfeel with light, prickly carbonation and a dry, hoppy finish thatís crisp and short. Not bad also. Very easy drinking, nothing extraordinary. 6,2,6,3,14

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Cask at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool, 25 July) Colour is golden with little head. Nose is fruity with lots of citrus aroma (lemon, grapefruit), nice hop aroma. Same goes for the taste: fruity with citrus (grapefruit, lemon) and a lovely long, flowery, hoppy finish. A small masterpiece actually.
