Bottled. Clear amber. Buttery chocolate aroma. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Dominated by chocolatey malt along with vanilla. Salty finish.

500 ml bottle sampled in 2009. Golden body with a nice, dense off-white head. A bit weak aroma of refreshing fruit with biscuit malt. Flavor is biscuit malty, almost a bit dry, but sweet at the same time. Hint of fruit and quite low in bitterness. Medium to thin body and some more obvious bitterness in aftertaste. A bit one-dimensional.

50cl bottle. Thick white head. Golden blond clear pour. A nice session beer at only 4.1%.

Tasty golden ale, as such easy to drink. Has a mild sweet fruity aroma and more so in flavour.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff nov-12: kort skum. Gylden farge. Karamell i smaken og alt for lite humle. Kjedelig.

A nice, lively dark ale (tasted from bottle) which went very nicely with a spicy chilli. Pleasant aftertaste which doesn’t linger too long.

500ml bottle - a refreshing beer with very little in the way of nose or taste. One that falls into the category "some beer". Okay, inoffensive, but forgettable.

Draft. Clear dark gold beer. Low carbonation. A little fruity in the nose which carries over to the taste. Palate is semi dry. Ultimately hamstrung by some sulphur.

500ml brown bottle (4.4%ABV) BBD unreadable, but sometime in 2012! Poured (twice) into a ’Back Forty Beer Co’ badged US pint glass. Nice deep golden body, clear and clean looking, on top a thin white coat of tight bubbles. The label wanted the beer chilled and served at 8 degrees C, it was. This effected the smell, only hops at first, but as the beer warmed maltly biscuits and toasted brown bread esters arrived. The taste was also hoppy at first, wether the beer was cool or warming, the hops ruled the flavours. Refreshing and fairly sharp on the tongue, an ideal summers day pint with a ’Ploughmans Lunch’: I had some mature Cheddar and Double Gloucester with my pint and they suited each other perfectly.
