Well balanced malt and hop characteristics with a gorgeous red hue in color. Medium body with a refreshing end. This is the perfect beer for those of you on the fence about hops.

Pour on tap at the brewery, reddish pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of slight pine and grass notes, hints of some citrus, touch of caramel and earth as well in there. Taste is pretty malt forward but has some nice pine and grassy bitterness, hints of sweet fruits with the caramel, touch of earth finishes fairly bitter and dry.

Tap @ Copper Kettle. Hazy, dark copper orange appearance with a tan head. Toasty, a touch nutty, caramel malty, earthy, organic hoppy aroma. Rich earthy, somewhat bitter hoppy, toasted malty flavor. Clean, sessionable brew.

Tap at CK - lightly hazy dark amber - sudsy, lasting lace - aroma of toasty maltiness and moderate caramel - medium bodied - medium dry, grainy malt character, with light acidity through the middle, as well as lightly earthy hops, leading to a semi-sweet finish of light caramel and toffee, with a touch of fruity esters - a decent brew, but nothing stand out - unlike most of their other beers, this will probably not be one I order again.

Hazy rusty amber with a thin white head. Nice sweet grainy aroma with some toffee and caramel, with a welcoming note of nugat. Taste is mostly pale grain and toffee with a rustic malty caramel tone, with a quiet grassy bitteness that becomes more noticeable in the end. Pretty well balanced and flavorful.
