Pour on tap at the brewery, Wednesday cask 2/6/12. Dark brownish black pour with slightly off tan head, aroma brings notes of dark fruits, biscuit, caramelized sugars, hints of raisin, nice sugary and ginger notes come through, slight spice with hints of cinnamon, clove in there as well. Taste is a mix of ginger, nice and spicy clove mixing into lots of dark fruits with raisin, fig, nice caramelized sugars with toffee, molasses, finishing sweet, slightly dry, more spices. Dug this blend, well done.
