Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of sweet herbal, spice, and grassy notes, slight sweet white fruit, Belgian yeast and esters, hints of biscuit and bread. Taste is a mix of spice, herbal, fruity notes into some sweet vanilla, honey, touch of earthy and spicy tones, hints of biscuit, finishing sweet.

On tap at the brewery, interesting crisp beer, solid but not great. Nice finish but a little light

Slightly hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma of light pale grain sweetness and light earthy herbal hops. Smooth mouthfeel with tiny prickly carbonation, and a full flavor. Flavor is herbal and earthy with some orange and light lemon citrusiness, and a little peppery zest with a dry, fruity/herbal finish. But for all that, the flavor is calm and restrained, quite balanced and smooth. Not terribly eccentric though there are subtleties deep down to make it approachable yet nuanced.

Tap at Copper Kettle, CO 1/10/13. Aroma of citrus, pepper, spice and pine. Junpiper notes come through subtly on tatse. A really good beer.

Hazy light gold - nose of light honey, a bit of peppery, a light citrus-like tartness, a bit of grass - creamy texture - medium sweet up front (honey), followed by a light herbal bitterness through the middle - very light tartness on the tail end, with a mild juniper character - a little bit of spiciness in the long, dry finish - quite nice, and subtle/delicate for something so strong.
