COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copper Kettle’s first Hefeweizen! 60% wheat profile with banana and clove flavors. Cloudy in appearance with yeast suspended in the glass, a signature component of Hefeweizens. You guys asked for it...and here it is!

Hazy darker golden with a thin foamy head. Smells like a big bunch of German yeast; lots of clove and banana with a firm wheaty tone. Taste was a little heavy on the banana and spiciness but the wheat in the end helps calm it down. Also has a pretty firm biscuity flavor alongside some mild malty sweetness.

Pour out of growler, nice hazy off orange with nice fluffy white head, looks fantastic! Aroma brings great notes of banana, apricot, pear notes with clove, slight lemon, hints of buttery crackers, nice dusty earth notes, really nice. Taste is just as good, with nice notes of sweet banana and apricot, lemony notes in there with nice clove and earthy yeast, hints of cracker and biscuit notes that are nicely balanced by a dusty earth quality, finishing very nice and refreshing. That’s a damn well done Hefeweizen.

This is pretty much everything I love in a Hefeweizen - turbid glowing orange - frothy, sustained head - quaffable but complex - light bodied, but full and round in the mouth - dry and tangy, with a complex but subtle and balanced profile of phenols - clove, banana, white pepper - a sageish spiciness - finish is yeasty but light, with a slight lemoning tang lingering - I’ve been waiting for a local hefe this good - thank you, Copper Kettle!

Tap @ CK. Good looking, fluorescent, yellow-orange appearance with a fading white head. Fairly spicy yeasty, potent citrusy, banana, clove, sweet wheat malty aroma. So good so far. Moderately spicy, somewhat tangy orange citrusy, fairly strong banana, light clove, sweet wheat malty flavor with a smooth, orange-banana smoothie finish. More banana in the aftertaste. This doesn’t blow my mind, but it’s a very solid offering and dare I say the best German Hefeweizen in recent memory from the slew of new breweries in Denver. Thank you guys. Now make this baby a year round beer and make lots of money.
