OK aroma, but nothing special.. The beer is quite dark/ amber in appearance ( as promised on the label) with a pleasant overall look. Head disappeared immediately. An unpleasant bitter/astringent aftertaste, and low carbonation.. I will not buy this again

Pours clear amber with good fluffy head. Fruity nose. Medium mouthfeel, low carbonation. Good bitter flavour throughout with underlying malt profile

From bottle marked "Copperlake English Ale" in Jo’burg 12.03.15. Clear orange. Persistent off-white head. Fruity aroma, with hops, grains and some yeast. Refreshing and balanced taste, with moderate bitterness. Perhaps a but too fizzy for a bitter. Very quaffable!

UPDATED: APR 27, 2015 Aroma: Medium hops, fruity, grapefruit, Appearance: Clear, copper body.Large, white, fluffy head. Good retention. Lacing Flavour: Medium-high bitterness, medium-hops, fruity, grape fruit. Light astringency. Medium-light grassy. Dry finish, with lingering hops. Mouthfeel: Medium body. Medium-high carbonation. Overall: The beer is very hop forward. Although a good beer, a bit of maltiness will lift/balance out the beer. Astringency may be from over sparging. 440 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Brendan. 8B. Copper-amber colour.  Aroma is lightly plasticy w some other phenols as well.  Light fruitiness but otherwise still some plasticy notes.
