Pours reddish-brown with little head. Some maltiness and nuttiness in both aroma and flavor. Very thin, kind of just a light american beer with more color. I didn’t like this one much at all.

Had on tap at the Copper Tank Brewery in Austin,Tx. Dark ruby red to dark brown appearance. Thin, slightly mocha colored head, slight lacing. Aroma has some nutty notes. Flavor has some strong chocolate notes which are quite nice and surprisingly strong. Some nutty notes come through as well. Finish is a bit weak.

Poor showing overall. Light nose, auburn color, no head. Cherry fruitiness and a some nutty roasted malt tones. Metallic bitter end. Thin. Haphazard balance.

Okay, there is some head and a bit of lace. Not strong in the flavor department, but was good.

Slight notes of bitterness yet a touch watery. Adequate. Oh yes, and a bit nutty.
