UPDATED: OCT 27, 2004 Dark brown appearance with a thin dissipating off-white head. Faint aroma of melted chocolate bars. Mouthfeel had the consistency of gritty kool-aid. Flavor has some faint chocolate notes with a trace of coffee. Overall, this one needs work.

On draught. Dark brown with nice head. Aroma is dar, roasty and malty. The flavor is really nice. The bitterness and sweetness play well off eachother. It has just a touch of coffee flavor with the right amount of sweetness for a robust porter. This beer is delicious and it’s hard to drink just one, especially if you like porters. Great beer!
