Nov 29, 2002 Cloudy light gold with a nice foam on top. Hints of fruit, definitely wheaty. I was told this was a rye beer (but I didn’t trust the waitress, as she didn’t seem particularly confident). Smooth drinking, attractive beer overall. (on tap at Austin location)

Nov 20, 2002 Standard and unspecial hazy-golden hue, but very nice looking foamy head. Quite pleasant fruity taste; a candylike-banana blend that strengthens slightly toward the finish. Very slightly phenolic as it warms up. Quite flavorful and for $1 a pint on Wednesdays, it’s about the best deal in town. Between this and their Copperfest, this brewery has been doing some good work lately.
