Cask-conditioned at the Derbyshire beer festival, Seven Stars, Bristol 8/12/10. Deep gold with next to no head. Sweetish malt aroma with a touch orange fruit and leafy hop. Flavour of citrus fruit, creamy malts with a hoppy, dry finish. Good.

Cask, handpull at The Guildford, Edinburgh, with Craig, Stella & Kids, Jan, Charlotte & Loz, 30.10.10 Pours lemony yellow and hoppier than I expected. Pleasant beer although the sweetness rankles a bit, not getting the crisp and dryness that the beer programme suggested, that said it’s a very decent first effort. Was surprised to later find out that this is one of the first beers that Chris (surname not known) brewed. Chris is a regular up the Old Oak, Horsley Woodhouse, Derbyshire (my dad’s local) A6 A4 T6 P4 Ov12 3.2
