2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
(Canned, BBE 14.6.2013) Clear golden with a small head. Very mild but clean nose with a touch of cardboard (past BBE), but also some fruitiness. Flavor is neutral, lightly fruity and pale-malty, hardly any hop bitterness present. Light to medium body, not watery, reasonably refreshing. A tasteless, but clean and refreshing lager without any serious faults. For some reason it had some similarities with the fruity Belgian pale lagers, so I’d have this rather than any Finnish macro lager, at least. 3224

33cl can from a supermarket in Tamaimo, Tenerife. Pours the usual pale golden with a white head. Slightly malty aroma with hints of cooked vegetables, fruits and hops. A bit sweet and grainy with a mild bitterness in the finish. Quite light body, and easy to drink. Pretty much the standard industrial pale lager, but not as sweet as some and also noticeable bitterness in the finish. Far from a great beer, but a drinkable pale lager.
