0.3l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a clear golden one with a small islandy and sidesticking white top. Smells sugar sweet with some fruity touches. A bit pilsner-ish in between. Nothing to write home about. It’s quite average on the c02 and the mouthfeel is thin and kinda slick. A bit sweetnes in the taste. Malty and somewhat grainy also. Not directly bad or anything, but a bit blend and dull? 09.01.2012

Ernest (6484) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 4, 2015
Bottle (in Curacao). Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, husks), trace hops (herbs), with light notes of concrete and DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, fizzy/lively carbonation. Certainly a slight step above the tropical swill I’ve been sampling in Costa Rica, Panama, Aruba, and here in Curacao, although still industrial and husky.

Smell of malt and grain. Very pale golden colour, white and quickly diminishing head. Aroma of starch, rubber, some malt. A minor acidic note in finish, also some alcohol. Mildly bitter. Fizzy carbon, watery palate. In general a boring and poor pale lager.
