COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A little darker than many I.P.As, we have seven hop additions to this 90 minute boil for a strong, yet not overpowering hop presence.

Sampled on draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy copper color with medium creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of floral hops. The taste is bitter hops and caramel malts. Medium bodied. Well balanced.

Elwood (1967) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - SEP 3, 2011
Serving: Draft at the brewery. It pours a hazy amber color with a creamy tan head. The nose reminds of the Catoctin with some pine notes. It has that same molasses flavor and some dull pine notes but not nearly enough hops to be considered an IPA. Just slightly bitter. Less hoppy and bitter than the Catoctin in fact. Poor attempt at best.
