2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From can into snifter pours a clear, deep ruby...not amber like others have noted. Once thick and frothy head quickly disappeared. Taste is more roasted and malty than hoppy...again, not like others saying it's quite hoppy. Not a bad beer, would prefer more hop and lighter palette though. This, to me, is more of a red than an ESB.

12 oz pour from refrigerated bomber into Spiegelau IPA glass. Light brown with a strong, lasting head and notable lacing. Nose is biscuit, bread, herbal, and incredibly yeasty. Mouthfeel is creamy. Taste is alright. Nice about of bitterness, but the aftertaste is a little metallic (might be an old bottle?). Iím getting biscuit and a leafy-taste. Not too remarkable, but a good session beer. Happy to see more quality craft beers in this part of the country.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a shaker. Hazy amber with medium beige head. Aroma is light herbal hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is caramel malt, toast, herbal hops, and light finish.

Can, thanks to Hopscotch. Amber pour with a white head. Bitter hoppy aromas. Not a a bad ESB. Bland bitter hop notes dominate. Average body and mouthfeel.

I quite like this brew, but I like it better from the firkin tap and beer engine pull and special release blend. A coppery pour with a nice head, lingering lacing, and an overall drinkability that works well year round.

Nice. One of my personally favorite styles. This one is quite good all the way around. I would prefer more mouthfeel (slipperiness) and perhaps a bit more maltiness, but overall, solid, good, and cannot complain.

Can tracked down by my parents - thanks! Murky orangish-brown pour with a huge foamy head. Aroma is earthy, bready, and lightly spicy. Taste is malty, earthy, light spice. Not bad at all.
