2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Hazy Orange Gold with a white head. Very fizzy. Prickles the tongue like sherbet. Tastes like an inadequately hopped American Pale Ale. Totally disposable stuff.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Super U supermarket, Dinan, Brittany, France. Pale clear straw coloured with a toffee and light grassy flavour, biscuit notes followed by a warming, spicy finish. Pretty good for a low ABV (for a French) beer.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml bottle (Konn ja kukk, Tallinn)
Smells watery, a slight fruitiness. Pale, brief head. Watery palate. Some slight fruity hops, with some dslightly drying bitterness. Finish is grape seeds, with just a touch of juice. Slips down easily, like a lager might, but yes, that means it is a throwaway beer.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Fizzy golden body with quite disappearing white head. I’m sure it’s not but this looks factory mass-produced. Apple, casting sugar, poor quality caramel candy and breakfast cereals. Taste is, luckily, much better. Some bitterness in first sip but only light sugary from there; at least some character develops here. Aftertaste is sweet again. Low alcohol but certainly too much residual sugars. Too bad.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy blond color. Simple Ale, with light cereal touch, quite dry, and reasonable bitterness. Amazingly, it’s above the French average; still, it may be very boring.
