humlelala (968) - DENMARK - SEP 10, 2013
(50 cl bottle from Gaia in Parga; Bottled on July 29th 2013) Pours a semi-clear, dark brown with medium, tan head that fades gradually. Aroma is toasted malt in a schwartzbier-like fashion, oily texture, lively carbonation, medium body and a toasted, slightly ascerbic finish. Flavour is relatively dry with notes of toasted malt and a hint of smoked wood. Okay.

Scopey (6718) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2013
Bottle Paleo Frourio, Corfu. It pours clear ruby-brown with a thick beige head. The nose is earth, brown bread, dried fruit and some caramel. The taste is toast, brown bread, earth, leather, a touch of cocoa, cola and decent bitterness, with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not a bitter anyways... Actually rather drinkable. Not too shabby at all.

Bov (9447) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUL 25, 2013
from Acharavi, Corfu - dark ruby-brown beer with a poor head retention; slightly hazy; spicy coffeish nose with hints of ginger; medium-bodied, gently bitter and with toasted gingery and coffeish notes again in the finish; decently tasty

Douberd (2221) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUL 21, 2013
Bottle, 500 ml, bought in Greece. Poured into my big Guinness glass. ABV 5% Deep mahogany brown colour on the body, with asmall off-white head sitting on top. Average retention for its size, eventually it leaves a thin layer of foam to cover the beer’s surface. No lacing on the glass. Aroma of milk chocolate, lighty roasted malts. Nice taste, roasted malts, coffee, lightly acidic but not sour along with a good bitterness, even from the first moment it touches the palate. Good duration too. Medium thin body, soft carbonation. Another good beer from Corfu Microbrewery, seems that they latest hype about them is justified.

bierkoning (10162) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - JUL 17, 2013
Bottle from Douberd, thanks! Dark brown color. Malt, caramel and cacao in the aroma. Malty sweetish flavor with cacao, caramel. Thinnish. Not to be compared with a British bitter ale. Nevertheless an interesting beer.

50cl Bottle, bought in Athens. Clear dark brown colour with a red hue, off-white head. Aroma of light roasted malts, bitter chocolate, hint of coffee. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, nutty, a bit of chocolate and coffee, light roasted bitter finish. Light-bodied. Nice.

Dark brown. Not much head on this pour. Has a fairly toasty aroma and a toasty, nutty character. Fairly simple character. Finishes off-dry.

Beershine (5218) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Bottle at the Palaio Frourio Cafe Corfu fortress. Deep copper brown with small cap. Aroma is richly malty, sweet but brown bread is nice. The flavors are simply brown bread, nothing exciting but malts are well-developed. Could use more depth and hop but is satisfying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

decaturstevo (4996) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - SEP 10, 2012
Deep gold almost copper pour with a hinto red frothy tan head and lace. Aroma is peaty roastiness almost like molasses. Caramel mal and sweet molasses and a light roasty bitter. Medium body with smooth carbonation. decent
