Bottle at the Palaio Frourio Cafe Corfu fortress. Deep copper brown with small cap. Aroma is richly malty, sweet but brown bread is nice. The flavors are simply brown bread, nothing exciting but malts are well-developed. Could use more depth and hop but is satisfying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[Bottle (500ml)] As ’Bitter Dark’. Pours a deep amber with a large long-lasting fluffy off-white head. Aroma of lightly toasted malt, eggshells, some light sourness and/or metal and a hint of chocolate. Flavour is not good, metal and sourness first followed by malt -- watery as well. Average bodied. Just not good, a drainpour.

It pours pretty dark with a small foam. Nose:nothing at all. Mouth: a sip was enough.Thin and sticky mouthfeel. Seems way off style and really unpleasant.

Had this beer as "Dark Ale Bitter" in Corfu. which seems to be the new label. I was quite surprised as this beer resembles def more a dark ale than a bitter. Very dark, sweet and malty.

Bottle. Pours dark brown and clear with just a tiny head. The aroma is rich with strong roasty notes and coffee along with some dark berries. Mostly dry and in the finish quite bitter starts it off with some slight sweetness. Flavor of malt keep the aroma of coffee on the tongue. The body is medium with quite high carbonation which causes a sparkling mouth-feel.

0,50 bottle courtesy of the Hoppy guys from Thessaloniki-Greece. Many thanks brothers. Consumed in Serbia (ciao Marko/Matt). It pours chestnut skin color (!), pretty dark with a small and gassy ivory foam. Nose: veggies (rotten), white eggs, paper. Mouth: a sip was enough. Tart, boring and likely infected. Not in style (absolutely) and far from being called a beer. A total pour in the sink! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
