Baltic Porter to wyjątkowe i treściwe piwo warzone tradycyjną metodą dolnej fermentacji, o wyrazistym, mocnym i złożonym smaku. Dominuje dobrze wyczuwalny aromat palonego słodu i goryczy z wyczuwalnymi nutami kawy, suszonych owoców, czekolady i lukrecji. Ciemną, intensywną barwę zawdzięcza połaczeniu palonego słodu z jasnym. Produkowany wyłacznie z surowców naturalnych. Niefiltrowany. Bez konserwantów. Powstaje w miedzianej warzelni według tradycyjnej sztuki warzenia zgodnie z prawem czystości składu.

Bottle brown, 500 ml, 22 P, non - filtered, lagering time minimum 12 weeks.
Appearance: Pours very dark rubby, cherry to black in colour, heavy roasty essence of Baltic Porter, carbonation of the body is not visible due to its non - transparent texture. Head is beige, off - white, cappuccino like, nutty brown, frothy in texture but slightly rocky. Head is initially big, slowly decreasing to small, leaving traces of lacing
Aroma: Aroma presents the alternation between Zywiec Porter and Amber Grand Imperial Baltic Porters styles. Front is woody and revealing a lot of prune and cherry - plum red fruit oriented off - spins characteristic of Zywiec Porter. On the other hand we have dark chockolate and cacao with vanilla oriented aroma characteristic of Amber Grand Imperial. This juncture is positive about this Baltic Porter, however, it is worth noting that the aroma is not that intensive and lively as in the mentioned beers. Maybe that’s due to its natural effervescence.
Taste: Distinct notes of a variety of 4 barley malts, roasted malt and Munich malt are present at front and are accompained with Pilsen malt and caramel malt. Vanilla, cacao, dark chockolate, milk chockolate, some minerality, saltyness, woody - nutty touch known from Zywiec Porter as well as its prune and red fruit off - spins and easters. It would be in the tight top of Polish Baltic Porters if not some chronic, nasty trend of spoiling a brewing mastercraft by adding extra regular white sugar. Finish duration is moderate to long.
Palate: Body is full, texture is quite sticky, carbonation on palate is moderate, finish feel with perfectly hidden alcohol. Quite pleasureable experience, however, white sugar spoiled that great experience.

Nice medium lasing beige head, color dark brown. At first very unpleasant aroma of vegetables/ animal feedstuff, happily going away when in a while, leaving hints of dark fruits, chocolate, and the other baltic porter-like aromas. Taste rather sweet, too sweet, delicate roasty and alcohol finish.

Butelka 500ml, dedykowany kapsel, złoto-brązowo-czarna etykieta. Po nalaniu spora beżowa piana, dość nietrwała. Barwa ciemno brązowa, nieprzejrzysta. W aromacie przede wszystkim ciemne owoce, suszone śliwki, paloność, szlachetne nuty nalewki wiśniowej, lukrecji, czekolady. W smaku słodko, czuć palone słody, lekką wiśniową kwaskowość, trufle, ajerkoniak - piwo jest dość wyklejające i alkoholowe. Goryczka mała, wysycenie średnie, brak kontry do tej likierowości.

Butelka 0,5 l. Zapach bardzo intensywny, głęboki, owoców suszonych, z nutami ciemnego karmelu i porto. Piana beżowa, drobna i średnio pęcherzykowa, ale niezbyt trwała. Dość szybko redukuje się do cieniutkiej warstwy, by potem całkowicie zniknąć.

W aromacie duzo karmelu, sporo slodkich, suszonych owocow, intensywny aromat palonej cykorii polaczony z lekka kwasnoscia. W smaku mocno karmelowe, przeslodzone, pojawia sie intensywna nuta kawy zbozowej, palonej cykorii. W odczuciu gladkie, nisko wysycone.

Niezły, ale chyba najsłodszy porter bałtycki. Smak rumowy, likierowy, słodszy niż w innych porterach.

500ml bottle. Pitch black color. Small size, brown head, disappears. Malty, sweet, honey and faint iron in aroma. Horribly sweet, malty, dark chocolate, syrup in taste. This is liquid sugar. Can’t detect alcohol. Actually it’s impossible to detect anything else beside sugar.

500ml bottle (BeerGallery Dominiskaja, Krakow)
Treacly aroma. Black, small beige head. Syrupy sweet palate, but lovely and tempting. Yes, there’s the obvious implication from the sweetness that this is strong, but it’s not boozy. Sweet, but I do like the roast. So caramelly. Some (such as Anna and Marduk) could dislike the sweetness, but for me, this is rather pleasant.

If rate this beer in separate categories, then it scores quite low, but final effect is still good. Not balanced beer - aroma is bad while colour is beautiful. Tasting, a bit of sweet and bitterness which decreases effect. Only some slights of coffee or chocolate. Finally, it is not great but you want to drink it now and you can take another bottle jest time.
