Unfiltered. No preservatives. Wheat beer with lemon. Cornelius Cytryna is a mixture of wheat beer with 100% lemon juice. The addition of lemon juice enriches the spectrum of traditional Weizen beer tasting sensations. Banana – yeasty aroma is very distinctly stressed with lemon hints. Cornelius Cytryna is a slightly hazy, refreshing beer of a bright hue. Produced from natural ingredients, specially selected yeast and wheat malt. No preservatives and artificial colorants. Brewed in the cooper tan. Serve cold in high glasses. Contains: water, wheat malt, barley malt, sugar, lemon juice (3%), lemon extract, regulator of acidity – citric acid , natural hops, natural lemon aroma, yeast. Naturally hazy, non-filtered (yeast sediment), pasteurized.

Bottle. Now, that is one nice radler. Tons of lemon in the aroma. I don’t get significant hefeweizen notes, what shines through though could be cloves but I definitely sense a pleasant eucalyptus-menthol presence that reminds me of Wick Blau. The taste is sweet but definitely more tart and thus very refreshing. Some very shy yeasty and malty notes in the aftertaste, although on the whole the base beer almost evades perception. As a radler, this is top-notch.
