2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Schroppfy (2328) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - JUN 20, 2011
UPDATED: JUN 21, 2011 Cornelius Weizen is one of the best Polish wheat beers. To add honey could be a big deal. Or not. My wife likes wheat beers but wanted a miodowe. Reaching for this, it was not enough honey. For me, not enough weizen. But all the usual supects are there, banana elements from the yeast, some acidity, moderate sweetness, and aroma of clove and other peppery spice. Along with an overlay of honey, not obtrusive. Not a bad beer, just interfering with a good weizen.

That hurts! A good / very good wheat beer mixed with a tablespoon of honey-four! Much, much too sweet, the original taste is almost non-existent. Maybe I’ve drunk the beer mix at the wrong time - namely, it was not sick! When I once caught a flu, I’ll try again - I will stand on their feet more quickly?

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.
