Bottle brown, 500 ml, 12.5 P
Appearance: pours hazy to cloudy, orangy golden body with only a gentle carbonation. head is initially minimal and immediately diminishing, totally disappearing what is not a good sign of Weizen beer. By the appearance it looks much more like a poor and straightforward imitation of a Spice beer. No lacing at all.
Aroma: Notes of alcohol mixed with honey and wheat malt in a really nasty and undesired and unwanted way, non - sophisticated, gone off, watery and flat failure.
Taste: Very dull, typical of a poor combination of taste and commercial trick to impress a customer with its superficial values. In fact it is neither a good Weizen nor a spice - honey beer. Really poor Weizen with dull and parched aftertaste becomes ever worser due to its so to say natural honey adjunct. Finish duration is long and really unpleasant.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is sticky, carbonation on palate is soft and quite flat, unfortunately finish feel is dull and hard to determine, negative.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2011 Cornelius Weizen is one of the best Polish wheat beers. To add honey could be a big deal. Or not. My wife likes wheat beers but wanted a miodowe. Reaching for this, it was not enough honey. For me, not enough weizen. But all the usual supects are there, banana elements from the yeast, some acidity, moderate sweetness, and aroma of clove and other peppery spice. Along with an overlay of honey, not obtrusive. Not a bad beer, just interfering with a good weizen.

That hurts! A good / very good wheat beer mixed with a tablespoon of honey-four! Much, much too sweet, the original taste is almost non-existent. Maybe I’ve drunk the beer mix at the wrong time - namely, it was not sick! When I once caught a flu, I’ll try again - I will stand on their feet more quickly?

Bottle 500ml.

Unclear medium orange yellow color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light to moderate yeasty, cereal, dusty, honey notes, yeast. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Did not work for me at all - yeast and honey is not a good combination IMO ;O( [20101211]
